As we prepare to celebrate the mystery of Christ's love, let us acknowledge our failures and ask the Lord for pardon and strength

I confess to almighty God,
and to you,my brothers and sisters.
that I have sinned through My own fault

In My thoughts and in My words,
in what I have done,
and in what I have failed to do;
and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin,
all the angels and saints,
and you my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.

Lord have mercy

And Grant us your salvation.

Job related stress

I sometimes wish I we're in a battle
With loud banging gunfire around me
Fighting with all my heart
For some purpose to exspose
and save my life

Explosions echoing through trees and over hills
Wanting to attack the action
Seems to be in the next gorge
Ravishing through thick brush
And then belly down
Slidding down the gorge
to find empty shells
and again echoing gunfire from
over the hills
Only louder this time
My heart pounds to the
Consistant banging
Bang bang bang
Sitting up in pure sweat
clutching the alarm clock
in both hands
No use for the snooze button today
Its back to the battle

Everyday (people are dying UN necessarily )

People are in danger
Everyday
People are hungry
Everyday
People are dying
In some kind of way
 UN necessarily
Everyday
Some are homeless
Some are rich
Some it's sickness
For sum it's a bitch

I look right at it
and wonder why
it has to be this way
Why are there those who prosper
and those who suffer
Everyday
Why is there no happy medium
Why does it have
to remain this way
Everyday?

struggling writer

I sometimes think it makes their day
to see me struggle.
And sometimes I wonder?
What if I didn't struggle?
What if I were rich?
I'd probably fall over dead.
Hypothesis
The struggle is what I live for
Sometimes I get up
To struggle some more.

Early Febuary maybe May

I'm gonna start over
Like I was just born this morning
A brand new day
Sun is shinning
Birds are singing
A 65 degree spring day

A perfect day to learn to walk again
Freed from this cocoon I've been wrapped up in
I'm gonna start over
When blessings descend
and flourish in warm Sun rays

Take a deep breath
Brush off my shoulders
Reach for the sky and
rise to my feet
Look straight ahead
It's a brand new day

I wrote "Early February maybe May" in 2005.
I was going through RCIA at St Mary's at the lakes. I was shoveling snow off the roof of the church. It was early February but it must have been a late January thaw. The sun was out in full power warming and revealing the dark shingles after I moved the snow. Birds were singing and frolicking in the warm sun.
This poem came together over the short month.
Then when the month ended and snow continued I added "maybe May" to the title.

Can I tell you something? Flint city counsel board

When I was news director of Q95 wqte in Adrian Michigan the first Monday of every month there was a city council meeting. Board members voted on things and discussed plans in the community. Its open forum to media and members of the community are welcome to come and express their concerns.I never one time seen the Governor of the state there not because he's not concerned but because of his confidence in the communities elected officials. Flint, you have a council meeting coming up. Peoples should be in numbers demanding answers. Prosecutors should be analyzing their answers and take action. People's should also question that prosecutor and Flint sheriffs judges and all peoples in professional positions making unprofessional decisions putting people's lives at risk. For turning their heads and pretending they don't see.
Has anyone gone to the jail to see what they've been forcing prisoners to drink? The Genesee county jai is located in flint. It's a New jail built around the time the city changed the water and started pulling it from the river. Bill Schulte attorney general? Incompetent! City council meeting tonight

God I Pray for all People's

God I pray you build us a place.
Where there is no color
No religion
No matter
No space
Where the only division is in the earth and sky.
We could all love it!
Gods home made peace pie.:-)

the world

Things aren't always what they seem
What appeared to be leaves
Blowing up.
And then falling from the sky.
Actually was a whole flock of birds
Becoming unable to fly.

But try and tell people something's wrong.

Blessed be the poor

I started attending church at Saint Mary’s at the lakes about 10 years ago. I went through RICA and converted to Catholicism. I volunteered at the church all the time. I don’t have a lot of money and it was my way to give to the church. I really enjoyed reading scripture on Sundays and also being a alter server. I raised our churches requirements for the diocesan service appeal three years in a row. I shoveled snow off the roof decorated the church at Christmas and Easter the list goes on and on. I participated in the share the warmth campaign at the Salvation Army. Though I was right next to homeless myself I would buy stuff to make breakfast for the 16 residence at the shelter that night. Stay awake all night with one other volunteer. Then go and prepare breakfast for them in the morning.
It’s been four years ago. I was getting ready to go to the shelter for the night when a woman called me. She said her name was Irene Poole from the knights of Columbus in Irish hills. She told me she was suppose to work as a volunteer with me at the shelter but she was having car trouble and wanted to know would I be alright by myself. I told her yes but having some mechanical skills I asked if I could come and give her a jump or help her start her car. She confessed to me that her car was only low on gas and she didn't have money. I asked her if I could come get her. All I have to do is make a circle drive out of the trip. Ok she said. It’s not easy staying awake all night. Irene reminds me of a grandmother. Full of valuable advice we spent the night talking. I broke out my poems on her. My S.O.S poem was her favorite and she pointed out a spelling mistake as she read. Irene was a retired school teacher and she explained to me "people won't read through mistakes". As required as volunteers we stayed up and talked all night. I'm so glad that I gave her a ride. In speaking with Irene I found out she had volunteered to stay at the shelter every night for like a whole week I was impressed. “Truthfully” she confessed to me… "I came for the food". we got supper earlier, cooked by other volunteers that were leaving when we got here. And you brought the fixings for breakfast in the morning. Plus she said tomorrows Tuesday they have a pantry you can get two boxes of food and vegetables and since we’re here volunteering they will let us be first in line. I told her seems like I’m supposed to be somewhere else. You haven’t really slept your groggy jet lagged feeling. I drove but I’ll wait till the pantry opens and get some food for you Irene we’ll get you 4 boxes. I hated so bad to see Irene (someone’s grandma) in so much need. I hate it even today I don’t have money to help someone like Irene or myself even. The irony Turns up I had a court date…that morning. I don’t know how you forget an eviction hearing. I’m the guy who stops to help a distressed motorist even when I have some place to be. Maybe someday I’ll figure out how to help myself. 
I hate poor people!
I've never eaten or ate a poor person but I sure know what it tastes like.
From my kindle book "what colors humanity" third page “poor people for breakfast”. Available at Amazon.com it's one of three books I've published.
They are poems inspired by my life.
I have a hard time writing a story. These poems are my story. This is my short hand. ADHD doesn't spell anything

were all dieing

Living longer is not living better
And living better is not living longer
But yesterday I quit and still woke up today.
I'll wake up again tomorrow
Even though I'm afraid
Of living longer and not better.

Paper doll blood@my ink.com

Smell me bleed kool aid dreams

cut
out
of a piece of paper
I am
No ones paper doll
Cut up in pices
From a paper cut
I am torn
my flesh barely open
My mind pounds the shore
like salt in an open wound
I only sting and deserve more
A mirage in the desert
A miricle is in the air
I am cut and torn
Not real
I am just lifes paper doll
