"Help me, I can't breathe"

A month ago we got like 15 inches of fresh snow. Before the total accumulation hit the ground I headed to Somerset center dollar general to grab some snowed in food like eggs, milk and bread.
 As I pulled up to the stop sign to U.S 12 I notice a woman pulled over to the side of the highway.
 She was exited her vehicle and trying to flag down a semi heading west on 12. I think to myself what the heck? She had scurried to the back of her SUV as I approached. I thought does she have a flat?
I backed way out of the throttle and as I passed her I read her lips. "Help Me I can't Breathe".
She had something around her neck. I thought she had one of those tubes in her throat. I pulled over as fast as I could. She had started approaching me and I could see those are headphones around her neck. I asked her while we were still walking toward each other  "Are you choking on something"?
"NO I just can't breathe" she replied. Now at her drivers door I get a hold of her arm at the elbow thinking she could pass out. I'm Peering into her SUV and I ask her "Do you have an inhaler or something"? She again said "NO I just can't Breathe". I started rubbing her back and I told her
"if you can talk you can breathe" I asked her did she want me to call 911?911-whats-your-emergency.html She handed me her phone and said yes. Her husband was on the line still she had called him  as I drove up on her I had to hang up on him . Then her phone went into some lock down mode wouldn't let me call 911.computer-friendly-its-hard-drive-like.html I stated to head to my truck for my phone but a woman showed up in smocks. She was behind the semi and turned around when she seen me stop. I'm rubbing the woman's back again. I told her Anxiety can be overwhelming these roads really suck!" Obviously she was having an anxiety attack. Now she's on the phone with her husband talking about meeting at The Deck down under. My hazard lights don't work on my truck. So I asked the woman and the nurse in smocks who had turned around "Do you guys have this can I go"? Their like "Yeah go". Then here comes the snow plow clearing the shoulder. I jumped right out to the middle of the highway. Practically write where I first saw her trying to flag down a semi..... I'm flagging down a snow plow. I got out of there went to dollar general and got my stuff. On the way home everyone was gone. Must not have needed an ambulance.

 When I did The Morning Show on mix 102.5 wmxe in Adrian Michigan I was paid salary $14,400 a year . I could usually finish my job responsibilities at the station before noon. Then I would leave the radio station and go get on a roof and roof on a house till dark.i-worked-as-roofer-to-support-my-radio job..html
  The radio station began constantly firing people and push job responsibilities on remaining employees. They tell me "Scott Livesay's job  is your job now" only you don't get paid. he was production manager which was a full time position. They fired every body even the janitorial business that cleaned the bath rooms and offices/studio's  and they didn't even clean bathrooms for money they got free advertising. So I told Janet Kelson the general manager of all three stations Attention President Trump to local media and communications  you want me to clean the bathrooms send me a memo.! They never did send me a memo they managed to force me out because I didn't go fix the air conditioner at the tower site on Easter Sunday. The Nu nas memo send me the memo?

  In retrospect I hate computers! computer-friendly/-its-hard-drive-like a police chase..html  After I was handed production responsibilities I was forced to learn to use cool edit pro.
 It's the program I used to make the audio in this piece. "job related stress" is a poem I wrote at that job. I took the sound affects off a video game. It took me 17 hours to make the 29 second piece.
My ketchup poem is in front of it. The video is a bunch of houses I've roofed and the fire works display at Devil's lake Michigan.

I work outside and our Michigan weather likes to dictate how many hours I'm able to work.
With poor weather comes smaller paychecks.learn-you-trade-my-polish-grandpa-would.html  So far this year I've been plagued with automobile troubles. I hit a deer, starter troubles, a battery for the truck, brakes and rotors on the car, Distributor cap, flat tire on the car, rear brakes on the truck. The neighbors dog came and ate our chickens. To top things off my employer left the state without even telling me. I hope he gets mugged  on vacation. dewitt-chauffeur.html
  It happens every winter. It only takes one roof job  to get me out of the hole I'm in by the time spring arrives.  Roofing is not my purpose in life!Is poor Catholic an oxymoron ?
 However I wish I had a roof job and five days of decent weather. There I go again wishing I could go hide on a roof to survive. Instead of seeking out my destiny...... God's purpose for me?

  I wrote this piece in 2005 while I was going through R.I.C.A with the Catholic church.
Today it reached 48 degrees. Must be January thaw. As I lay under my truck changing the starter I notice all the birds are singing. It brought this poem in my head.




Early February maybe May

I'm gonna start over
like I was just born this morning
a brand new day
sun is shining birds are singing
a 65 degree spring day

A perfect day to learn to walk again
freed from this cocoon I've been wraped up in
I'm gonna start over when blessings desend
and flourish in warm sun rays

Take a deep breath
brush off my shoulders
reach for the sky and rise to my feet
Look straight ahead
"It's a brand new day"

Frozen nose hair sucks!

Christina got home from her shift at the Moscow General store.  Not-the_Soviet-Union.html  She said it was so cold out her nose hair was frozen. I wasn't aware she had nose hair. I'm sure she won't be happy I'm wondering....

But realistically Iv'e given nose hair a lot of consideration recently. Do you always  have nose hair?
I don't remember ever picking my nose when I was a kid and extracting a hair. I remember my dad could grow nose hair long enough to comb. /what-color-are-you-does-it-matter.html
  I remember having this conversation with my Daughter Zoe. Do woman have nose hair?
I'm going to investigate closely. I can tell you what I know. When you grow old your nose hair turns gray. If they get long enough to almost comb you'll find them froze on days like today....

I can carry two bundles of shingles to the roof top at the same time.
on a bet, a dare or to impress a pretty girl. Chrissy and I were working at
beautiful Clark lake this summer. I asked my boss to film me while I carried shingles.
