  I’m not on the streets homeless. But I do lack a place to call home.  I’m a single dad. I have a son almost four years old. I didn’t find out about him till he was 5 months old. We were evicted from my home march 28, 2014.   I have a degree in broadcasting from the Specs Howard School of broadcast arts in Southfield Michigan.  I’ve worked as a news director for WQTE Q 95 country in Adrian Michigan. Also a morning show host and program director at WMXE mix 102.5 sister station to the Q. There are several news stories inside my life in Lenawee County.   I learned to use a cool edit pro program at the station.  I haven’t worked in radio for 12 years. Wish I had that radio job today.  I’ve been bullied into homelessness by our judicial system.  On July 25^th 2012 I was involved in an incident with Deputy David borton animal control deputy in Lenawee County.  I called 911 because deputy borton was threatening to take my 15 month old baby and my dog. Deputy borton struck me as I held my baby in one arm and did take my dog. Six days later sheriffs came back to arrest me for assaulting a police officer. You know as well as I do. If you even attempt to hit an officer you go straight to jail do not pass go.  911 recorded the incident. After reading the police report I knew I could show my innocence by using the call. I FOIA requested a copy of the call to use as evidence. When I received a copy and placed it in my cool edit pro program it says the call has 16 possible edits that happened august the 6 2012 at 11:10:42. I was told I couldn’t use the 911 call as evidence in my defense. There was a conflict of interest. I could not say the call had been edited.  I had two court appointed lawyers quit and refuse to represent me. (Erick Kaiser, john glazier). 

 My experience in radio encourages me to record my phone calls. I recorded several conversations with lieutenant ewald and lieutenant aungst from the Lenawee county sheriffs.  Lieutenant ewald is in charge of animal control. Lieutenant tells me they don’t have the capability at the station to change the 911 call. That if the 911 call was somehow manipulated “That it was by some higher power”.

I am a broadcast major! I’ve made recordings that took 17 hours to make a 29 second piece. Complete with the sounds of gunfire and war every voice tracked by me. Narrating a poem I wrote called “job related stress” over the top of “in the arms of sleep” by the smashing pumpkins, it along with some of my other works were featured at thepumpkins.net.  I can only compare the editing skills on this 911 call to a bank robber who drops his id at the scene of the crime! I respond to the lieutenant “you guys are gonna be on Nancy Grace by the time this is over”. At which point he laughs out loud “Won’t be the first time.” I hung up the phone in disbelief. It wasn’t 10 minutes later when lieutenant Ewald called me back. Told me he was giving me the heads up this 911 call had been manipulated and he did not do it. While on the recorded conversation with him he’s trying to piece the call back together.  With his program he has a visual on the changes and he says to me “I don’t even see why anyone would do this.” I respond to him. “it’s because this crime was fabricated, someone tried to make it look like something else happened then what really happened” he responds “I can’t deny that I’m Looking at it.”

 I was squeezed by the courts. If I can’t submit any evidence how can I defend myself? I had to borrow the money for a lawyer I was facing 6 years in prison.  Judge Laura shadiler told me even if I did beat the case she would not give me my dog back. I plead  guilty to attempted obstruction. Judge says its obstruction of justice to call 911 on an officer. (Does that allow them to manipulate the call?)

 So at my eviction months later judge shadler scolded me. “Mr. Clark you need to get it together single mothers raise babies by themselves all the time.” I defended myself as best I could but there’s some things I had forgot about Like lenawee county friend of the court was taking child support from my unemployment checks and I had the baby! That's part of the reason I got behind. I think that fact may have benefited

me but realistically her mind was made before court and I’d bet on it. I lived in a trailer park I owned the trailer so it’s sad to say I couldn’t make lot rent. I told her your honor I’ve been paying above and beyond my monthly lot rent for the past 10 months and have paid back 1200 dollars on what I had been behind to the previous owner of the trailer park. (Phil French).  The new trailer park owner barb nelson told the judge she also wanted to add 200 dollars to what I owed because she had not been charging me for my dog who of course lives with me. Judge Shadler starts scolding me again. “Mr. Clark I sentenced you to probation. And you’re not supposed to have a dog. I stood up told her she was wrong! Wrong to bring that up today that’s not why we’re here!My baby and I are being evicted from our home today your honor "that's why were here." But since you brought it up your honor  Do you want to talk about the 911 call you fabricated against me?”That’s contempt of court she says. “You brought it up your honor Lets talk about it.” My mom was there pulling on my arm telling me to sit down. “No let’s get this on the record”. I said. we haven't been able to talk about this in court I told my mom she brought it up lets get this on record. The judge said  She she had ruled on the evidence she was presented. Remember they wouldn’t let me submit any evidence and I actually had two court appointed attorneys quit.  I guess that’s probably why I failed to remember things, facts back to why I was being evicted. I had requested a motion for discovery for barb nelson the new owner to show how she had obtained possession of the debt I had incurred with Phil French. Judge schadler said she was not going to grant my motion. That it was none of my business. I had 10 days to be out. I again presented the judge with some knowledge I had gained from michlegalhelp.org. I told her I had read on the site that people who owned their homes in a trailer park were only evicted from the park and had 90 days to sell or move their trailer. She told me by the looks of these pictures she needs to bulldoze this down. Your 90 days were up 10 months ago.   Imagine how I felt last month seeing she moved my house and has it for rent. Didn’t even paint it. She wanted me to put new siding on it.  I can’t even say how wrong it has all seamed.  My daughter Zoe pointed out I still have the title to the house” we should move in”. I try to put this all behind me. But this letter burns in my head every day my struggles continue.  I can’t help but feel bullied. By professionals? I’ve worked hard all year as a builder/roofer trying to pick up and move on with my life.   I really like to roof houses. It’s not glamorous its honest hard work. My dog goes to work with me every day he wants to. All in all we’ve done well over 100 roofs together. He’s at my feet right now. He is my good best friend. I’ve published three kindle books during the duration of this injustice. Lenawee County May 3, 2016, Election Ballot Information County-wide Ballot ProposalTo fund 9-1-1 operations and pursuant to the Michigan Emergency Telephone Service Enabling Act and the Michigan Telecommunications Act, shall the County of Lenawee be authorized, beginning July 1, 2016 and continuing through June 30, 2021, to assess a monthly surcharge of up to 16%, (with all operational surcharges not to exceed $3.00 per month) of the lesser of $20.00 or the highest monthly flat rate for basic single-party telephone service within the geographic boundaries of Lenawee County, with the revenue thus generated to be distributed exclusively for the financing of equipment, facilities and all other operational costs of the Lenawee County 911 Emergency Telephone Answering and Dispatch System?


I don't think Lenawee county should pass the vote on the 911 issue May 3. The proposal is written in a confusing language that may be misinterpreted by the peoples proposing the charges.
also reasons being I'm a former news director at Q-95 I have radio experience qualifying me in the audio field. I've produced audio pieces That were featured on the smashing pumpkins.net.
 I previously had a situation with deputy david borton in which he was trying to take my dog because someone had made a complaint i had hit him. David Borton threatened to take my dog and my 15 month old baby. I called 911 I held the phone up as the deputy charged at me with a baby in my arms "your going to have to talk to your sergeant."  I told him. he attempted to smack my phone out of my hand. six days later I was arrested for assaulting an officer. Six days. I use a cool edit pro program to edit my audio and I thought I could foia the 911 call to prove this didn't happen the way it was written up in the police report.
when I get the 911 cd from the sheriff's it's been edited. my computer shows it has 16 possible edits made. Having radio experience I record a lot of my calls. I wrote Attorney General Bill Shutte and told him about my situation he responded by telling me to file a complaint with the sheriff. I took my complaint to the prosecuter he told me I couldn't say it had been altered. I wrote a complaint against the sheriff and it's 911 operations. Took it in to the office and told them to give me my dog back and I wouldn't file the complaint.  I'm a dumb roofer since I got out of radio this dog and I have roofed 150 houses together. I've had him 13 years he's my good best friend. He's back to work with me since the sheriff gave him back. The book includes pieces I wrote about Lenawee county judge Laura Schaller and courts.

“Pickle cream pie” My daughter Zoe Blyss and I wrote this on our way home from school.  It was just silly but we had recited the piece over and over on the way home tweaking verses and laughing.  When we got home Zoe wrote it down. While I resorted to my cook books to try and find a recipe for Pickle pie with banana cream filling.   I thought if we seen a list of ingredients we might come up with a new verse.  My collection of cook books isn’t too extensive but I couldn’t find a recipe.  I go to Zoe’s room to tell her. I find her sitting on her bed, composition book on her lap, still remembering the poem we made on the way home. “Zoe” she looks up.  She writes left handed so she has this grip on her pencil, hair in her face.  “I can’t find a recipe for pickle pie! There is no pickle pie!” she’s quiet for a second in giving this deep thought. Then she says to me “Maybe it’s a cure for cancer dad?” wouldn’t that be amazing Zoe Blyss!  We wrote a cure for cancer today. Now it sounds good doesn’t it?

sledding Beautiful Clark lake

When we were kids and it snowed it seems everyone ended up at the county park with a sled.
Mark Harbaugh, Phennisies, Crenshaw, Smalowski ,Teddy and Terri korbinski the list goes on and on for generations.  There wasn't a houses on the hill then. The historic society floated the house across the lake on a barge and pulled it from the lake to the top of the hill. I remember the parking obstacles at the bottom of the hill. Poles sticking out of the ground with a steel cable going through them. We would build jumps to clear the cable or you would just have to bail from your sled to keep from being decapitated. I walked around the house on the hill this summer and I see people are buying spaces in the form of landscaping bricks and leaving memorials to loved ones. God bless all my sledding buddies still left. I wish everyone could have seen this house floated across the lake and put up at the top of this hill for our names to never be forgotten.


April 10th the snow just won't quit anyone want to go sledding?
Maybe they can open the house up for a warm reminiscent spot.
