  I’m not on the streets homeless. But I do lack a place to call home.  I’m a single dad. I have a son almost four years old. I didn’t find out about him till he was 5 months old. We were evicted from my home march 28, 2014.   I have a degree in broadcasting from the Specs Howard School of broadcast arts in Southfield Michigan.  I’ve worked as a news director for WQTE Q 95 country in Adrian Michigan. Also a morning show host and program director at WMXE mix 102.5 sister station to the Q. There are several news stories inside my life in Lenawee County.   I learned to use a cool edit pro program at the station.  I haven’t worked in radio for 12 years. Wish I had that radio job today.  I’ve been bullied into homelessness by our judicial system.  On July 25^th 2012 I was involved in an incident with Deputy David borton animal control deputy in Lenawee County.  I called 911 because deputy borton was threatening to take my 15 month old baby and my dog. Deputy borton struck me as I held my baby in one arm and did take my dog. Six days later sheriffs came back to arrest me for assaulting a police officer. You know as well as I do. If you even attempt to hit an officer you go straight to jail do not pass go.  911 recorded the incident. After reading the police report I knew I could show my innocence by using the call. I FOIA requested a copy of the call to use as evidence. When I received a copy and placed it in my cool edit pro program it says the call has 16 possible edits that happened august the 6 2012 at 11:10:42. I was told I couldn’t use the 911 call as evidence in my defense. There was a conflict of interest. I could not say the call had been edited.  I had two court appointed lawyers quit and refuse to represent me. (Erick Kaiser, john glazier). 

 My experience in radio encourages me to record my phone calls. I recorded several conversations with lieutenant ewald and lieutenant aungst from the Lenawee county sheriffs.  Lieutenant ewald is in charge of animal control. Lieutenant tells me they don’t have the capability at the station to change the 911 call. That if the 911 call was somehow manipulated “That it was by some higher power”.

I am a broadcast major! I’ve made recordings that took 17 hours to make a 29 second piece. Complete with the sounds of gunfire and war every voice tracked by me. Narrating a poem I wrote called “job related stress” over the top of “in the arms of sleep” by the smashing pumpkins, it along with some of my other works were featured at thepumpkins.net.  I can only compare the editing skills on this 911 call to a bank robber who drops his id at the scene of the crime! I respond to the lieutenant “you guys are gonna be on Nancy Grace by the time this is over”. At which point he laughs out loud “Won’t be the first time.” I hung up the phone in disbelief. It wasn’t 10 minutes later when lieutenant Ewald called me back. Told me he was giving me the heads up this 911 call had been manipulated and he did not do it. While on the recorded conversation with him he’s trying to piece the call back together.  With his program he has a visual on the changes and he says to me “I don’t even see why anyone would do this.” I respond to him. “it’s because this crime was fabricated, someone tried to make it look like something else happened then what really happened” he responds “I can’t deny that I’m Looking at it.”

 I was squeezed by the courts. If I can’t submit any evidence how can I defend myself? I had to borrow the money for a lawyer I was facing 6 years in prison.  Judge Laura shadiler told me even if I did beat the case she would not give me my dog back. I plead  guilty to attempted obstruction. Judge says its obstruction of justice to call 911 on an officer. (Does that allow them to manipulate the call?)

 So at my eviction months later judge shadler scolded me. “Mr. Clark you need to get it together single mothers raise babies by themselves all the time.” I defended myself as best I could but there’s some things I had forgot about Like lenawee county friend of the court was taking child support from my unemployment checks and I had the baby! That's part of the reason I got behind. I think that fact may have benefited

me but realistically her mind was made before court and I’d bet on it. I lived in a trailer park I owned the trailer so it’s sad to say I couldn’t make lot rent. I told her your honor I’ve been paying above and beyond my monthly lot rent for the past 10 months and have paid back 1200 dollars on what I had been behind to the previous owner of the trailer park. (Phil French).  The new trailer park owner barb nelson told the judge she also wanted to add 200 dollars to what I owed because she had not been charging me for my dog who of course lives with me. Judge Shadler starts scolding me again. “Mr. Clark I sentenced you to probation. And you’re not supposed to have a dog. I stood up told her she was wrong! Wrong to bring that up today that’s not why we’re here!My baby and I are being evicted from our home today your honor "that's why were here." But since you brought it up your honor  Do you want to talk about the 911 call you fabricated against me?”That’s contempt of court she says. “You brought it up your honor Lets talk about it.” My mom was there pulling on my arm telling me to sit down. “No let’s get this on the record”. I said. we haven't been able to talk about this in court I told my mom she brought it up lets get this on record. The judge said  She she had ruled on the evidence she was presented. Remember they wouldn’t let me submit any evidence and I actually had two court appointed attorneys quit.  I guess that’s probably why I failed to remember things, facts back to why I was being evicted. I had requested a motion for discovery for barb nelson the new owner to show how she had obtained possession of the debt I had incurred with Phil French. Judge schadler said she was not going to grant my motion. That it was none of my business. I had 10 days to be out. I again presented the judge with some knowledge I had gained from michlegalhelp.org. I told her I had read on the site that people who owned their homes in a trailer park were only evicted from the park and had 90 days to sell or move their trailer. She told me by the looks of these pictures she needs to bulldoze this down. Your 90 days were up 10 months ago.   Imagine how I felt last month seeing she moved my house and has it for rent. Didn’t even paint it. She wanted me to put new siding on it.  I can’t even say how wrong it has all seamed.  My daughter Zoe pointed out I still have the title to the house” we should move in”. I try to put this all behind me. But this letter burns in my head every day my struggles continue.  I can’t help but feel bullied. By professionals? I’ve worked hard all year as a builder/roofer trying to pick up and move on with my life.   I really like to roof houses. It’s not glamorous its honest hard work. My dog goes to work with me every day he wants to. All in all we’ve done well over 100 roofs together. He’s at my feet right now. He is my good best friend. I’ve published three kindle books during the duration of this injustice.
